Andrew has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years and over the last 10 years has specifically been dealing with sports people. This came about over a chance conversation after a rugby match at Bath when the Chairman of the RPA raised concerns over how players were accessing their insurance needs. This was a lightbulb moment and Andrew immediately got to work with major brands who agreed to provide special underwriting authority which lead to a very successful business. The secret to the success is being able to be competitive and to offer a bespoke level of service which has always been very popular with sports people. Andrew has been a RFU referee for over 25 years and is still applying a trade in the Aviva Premiership every week. This involves travelling all around the country, Europe and beyond and is possibly one of the longest serving officials in the country. Andrew is also very proud of the fact that his son Luke followed in his footsteps and is a full time referee and occasionally you will see them working at the same game.
