Trainee Insurance Advisor
We are looking for a Trainee Insurance Broker to join our growing team of sports insurance professionals.
To excel in this permanent position, you’ll need a great attitude to work, a keen interest in sports, excellent communication skills and be highly organised. What you don’t need is experience.
You won’t be joining just any insurance broker at All Sport. We exclusively provide insurance to sports professionals including footballers, rugby players, cricketers, jockeys/horse racing professionals, golfers, basketball players and pro boxers.
Our customers and ambassadors include world record holders, world cup winners, Olympic Gold medallists, domestic league winners & medallists at major championships across a huge range of sports.
As this is a trainee position, we have a full training program in place for you with a supportive and helpful team, and if you choose to you will have the option to progress on to a fully funded qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute (Cert CII)
Based within the Sale Team, you will work closely with the sales department to sell new insurance products, service existing policies, and generate renewal premiums.
Salary – We are offering an annual salary based on minimum wage for your age group.
If you are recruited aged 17-18 you will be placed in band 1, however, we will increase your salary to band 2 on completion of your probation period.
Band 1 Age 17-18 Starts £9009
Band 2 Age 18- 20 Starts £12,792
Band 3 Age 21-22 Starts £16,302
Band 4 Age 23+ Starts £17,374
Additionally, new Trainee Brokers of all ages will also be entitled to an achievable performance-related monthly bonus payment of £250. (After completion of initial 3 month training)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 9 am – 5.30 pm
Location – This is an office-based position in Torquay town centre.
Training – Full training provided with the opportunity to attain professional accreditations funded by the company (Cert CII)

What will you be doing?
To work as part of a team and individually to ensure that customers are handled in a friendly, useful, and professional manner and any customer enquiries, payments, mid-term adjustments, cancellations and complaints are handled in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
To provide support to the relevant sales departments, this will include searching the market to obtain quotes that suit clients’ demands and needs. To attend relevant training sessions within your development plan.
Adhere to company policy and best practices in line with current FCA compliance regulations.
